Greece had lots of natural harbors so it was easy to send ships of Greece. Another very useful thing was wood because there was lots of trees around Greece. All this wood made Greeks very good shipbuilders.
How did Ancient Greece use trade? Was it a positive or negative?
- Goods could be bought, sold and exchanged
-Wines, olives and pottery were available to Grecians, the export of those helped spread culture to the wider world
-The goods traded between different city states were: cereals, wines, olives, figs, pulses, eels, cheese, honey, meat (mostly sheep and goats), tools (e.g knives), perfumes and fine pottery.
-Greek pottery was very coveted, Greek pottery has been found as far as the atlantic coast of Africa.
-spices were also traded
I think the trade in Ancient Greece had a positive effect because they trade with loads of other civilizations and they shipped really far.
What does Greece look like today?
Greece is extremely beautiful. It has islands with beaches you can visit by boat. The house in Greece are very unique, also very cultural. There are ruins from ancient Greece witch you can visit, like The Acropolis, or the Parthenon. Also thee are many historic museums witch you can visit and look at the artifacts of Ancient Greece. When I was at Greece, someone found some artifacts and a skeleton!
